Don't forget to play: video clip.

Just here to remind you that beautiful places and peaceful experiences still exist. Stay informed with the happenings of the world and use whatever energy it triggers to “do better” and create positive change. But! Big but, don’t forget to take a break; turn off the news, put down the phone, and make time to get outside and move your body in nature.

Now more than ever we need more compassionate, empathetic, thoughtful, caring, forgiving, non-judgmental humans in the world—in all walks and avenues of life. And those states just can’t be accessed when we are down in the trenches of fear, pain, anger, and despair.

It doesn’t have to be a grand-adventure. Heck, roll around on the grass, play with a dog, meditate with a tree. Prioritize on the daily, whatever it is you need to do, to soften the density of the flight-or-flight response; and access a restorative feeling of calm.

Then you can more easily harness your inner Nelson Mandala, Mother Theresa, Ram Dass whoever it is you look to as a walking human-version of kindness, and inject that into all that you do: your passions and even the mundane.
